Three day winter camping expedition into Assiniboine Provincial Park! Skiers only, as snowshoes (aka slowshoes) are too slow and we have much distance to cover. Avalanche terrain knowledge and Companion Rescue Skills (AST-1) required.

Day 1:
- Meet at the Petro Canada along Hwy 1 and Hwy 22 Early in the morning
- Carpool out to the Mount Shark Trailhead
- Ski ~25km and ~1000m to the Magog Lake Camp
Day 2:
- Explore the area. Depending on the conditions and the Avalanche hazard, we have many options to ski mellow to more challenging terrain.
Day 3:
- There may be time for some turns if we are eager, but more likely we will be packing up camp and making our way towards the cars roughly 25km away.
